In partnership with EIA of Australia, Asian Int. Inc. has performed design and procurement services for National Laboratory for energy efficiency in Iran. The stated Scope for the establishment of the National Laboratories included a set of reference labs which would act as the research and development arm of Iranian Fuel Consumption Optimization Company (IFCO) and would perform some on-site energy auditing activities. The future vision for these labs is to act as an independent business. Laboratories would be un-biased and reliable, which would offer services to industrial companies and IFCO itself. They would cover projects, which may be performed for IFCO.
